Rage is a female Pit Bull Terrier mix who was born around October 2011. Due to her unique face, we think she may be mixed with Shar Pei as well. She appears to be good with some other dogs. She is moderately active and requires some exercise. Rage was not given a lot of time at her last home, and so she will need some help learning her manners. She is a strong girl, but a sweetheart, and the name she was given does not suit her. She has lots of love to give, and only wants love in return. The adoption fee for Rage is $175. This includes spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, bordatella, flea treatment, worming, testing for heartworms and treatment, and microchiping. If you are interested in meeting Rage, please visit the shelter at 22407 Bus Hwy 151 on the outskirts of Monticello during normal business hours which are Tuesday thru Saturday, noon to 6:30pm. If you have any further questions, you can call 319-975-8283. BREED DISCLAIMER: Many dogs come to us as strays and therefore, we are unsure of their breed. We may actually list a pure bred as a mix because we truly do not know their origins or background and we often must guess at their breed. 12/17/17 10:15 AM

Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred. 12/17/17 10:15 AM

Whinnie is a female shephard/beagle mix who was born around March 20, 2016. She is good with other dogs. She is moderately active and loves going to the dog park. She can be a little shy at first, but when she warms up to you, she is very friendly. You do have to go slow with her at first as she is a little insecure. Due to her insecurity, we do not recommend she go to a home with small children. She does guard her bones, but not her food, therefore, we recommend no small children. The adoption fee for Whinnie in $175.
